Williams PeopleOur DVD "Williams Syndrome: Williams People" won a Bronze Award at the 2000 BMA Film Competition and also won the "Programmes for Teachers and Carers" category against stiff competition from 80 entries at the Awards Ceremony on the 19th April.

This professionally produced 45 minute DVD is a guide to parents, teachers, doctors, and anyone working or spending time with people with Williams Syndrome.
The beginning is primarily for Doctors, dealing with diagnosis, and frequent physical disorders in infancy.
The middle is primarily for Teachers and Careworkers, dealing with the Psychological and Behavioural profile as well as their educational needs.
The last part of the DVD will be of most interest to Parents, as it looks at independent living in adulthood.
However, it is recommended that whatever your interest in Williams, that you watch the whole DVD: The more you get to know about the syndrome, the easier it will be to meet the needs of a Williams Person in your care.
Williams People is a valuable source of information, answering the most frequently asked questions whilst showing clearly the humour and warmth that is common to children and adults with Williams Syndrome.
