The 2009 Stroud Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 25^th October and Team Williams Syndrome will once again be taking part. In the last eight years our team of runners and walkers have raised over £90,000 for the Foundation from their efforts in this event, a magnificent achievement and one which we can all be justly proud. This year will see us pass the target set in 2001 of raising £100,000 in ten years one year early, therefore I plan to make this year’s run the biggest and best to date and to do this I need a lot more of you to join the team. You will find an entry form in the centre of this magazine so please complete it and send it to me now and join the largest, the best and the friendliest team in the Stroud Half Marathon and help celebrate us smashing the £100,000 target. Remember if you don’t feel you can run 13-miles you can always walk it, it just takes a little longer!  The entry forms will be available in the Summer issue of Williams News and should be returned to Mike by 30th September 2009.
